Why waste time connecting to all those terminals? think I'll just use these two at the bottom of the switch!!

Dang Zinsco, breaker goes bad and is welded to the bus bars, can't get the dang thing out ... what CAN I do? OH, WAIT! I'll just connect these two wires down there and ...

Good reason to always verify voltage is not present even after shutting off power.

I frequently pull out the a/c disconnect to confirm the size of the fuses.
Can't say I have ever cut the power to a house - on purpose.
